I know the definitions of Private Cloud, Public Cloud, Hybrid etc but I don’t really understand the market.
What’s the difference between AWS and GCP? I mean, essentially they both have racks of hardware managing data. Is it not the same thing?
Likewise, how do Private Cloud vendors differ? I mean, again isn’t it just hardware?
I can’t wrap my head around it.
Lastly, do I have this right? A cluster is a group of racks that have been assigned a task. These clusters are made up of nodes (servers) that are given individual or shared tasks.
Thanks for your help community
I went from a food company to joining a cloud company called ‘Cloudera’.
I am at such a loss as to what the cloud is and what Cloudera is.
I don;t know what a node is. I don’t know what a private is compared to a public cloud.
I feel sick with anxiety.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated?
