Serving website from instance having ephemeral IP
Hello everyone! Recently I was thinking about starting a blog, and have selected ghost for the same. With the help of a very generous friend who stays in the US, I have been able to provision a F1 instance on GCP, as I have no means and methods to pay for it (student in Nepal). However, I came to know that GCP has removed free reserved IP addresses. In this condition, is it possible at all to host a website?
I had used a service/app called dyndns to access my laptop from college previously. Is there a similar thing for GCP too? I also read about CNAME records. Can CNAME records help with this? If so, how can I get CNAME records for F1 instances on GCP?
