You need a housekeeper for your cloud

When our cloud costs started rising we were looking for a tool that would allow us to keep our costs in check. AWS's own tools and most third party tools can give you a breakdown by product, but that approach has some limitations, for example it's not easy to remove an EC2 instance and all of its dependent objects like volumes, ELBs and VPCs. We wanted a view that shows all those dependencies and allows us to query the resulting graph easily. So we created Cloudkeeper, an open source CLI tool that periodically collects a list of resources in cloud accounts, provides metrics about them, and can clean them up. Hope you find it useful!
